Denise Godfrey

Olive Hill Greenhouses, Inc.
Denise is second generation of Olive Hill Greenhouses, Inc., a wholesale nursery started by her parents
in 1973 that has grown to be one of the 100 largest nurseries in the country. Denise is responsible for
selling their Fallbrook grown, pollution fighting tropical foliage, Bromeliads, Anthuriums, and Orchids to
customers throughout the western United States. She also manages inventory of their 760,000 sq ft of
greenhouse to ensure a dependable supply of plants to consistent customers. She works closely with her
father on plant selection. In addition, she visits customers and attends industry events to gain a
broader knowledge base and become a better resource for her company and her customers.
Denise graduated cum laude from Whittier College, Whittier, CA in 1999 with a B.A. in Physics.
Denise takes an active leadership role in her community. She currently serves as President of the San
Diego Country Flower & Plant Association, on the Board of Directors for the interior plant initiative
Plants At Work, on the Board of Directors for the San Diego County chapter of Ag In The Classroom, and as
a Floriculture leader to Fallbrook 4H. Denise is committed to educational programs promoting the health
benefits of flowers & plants and to teaching children the joys of having flowers and plants in their
lives.
Denise and her husband, Will McGregor, have been married since 2000 and live in Fallbrook with their
daughter Emma Michelle. Emma shares a passion for flowers and plants and enjoys walks through the
greenhouse, going to meetings with her mother, making weekly trips to the local Farmer's Market, going on
4H Floriculture adventures, and selecting plants to take home.
