As part of the 2026 Strategic Plan refresh, the California Agricultural Leadership Foundation is hosting a series of listening sessions to engage industry partners, donors, university leaders, and key stakeholders in shaping our long-term direction. The SEED Team is leading this effort — a cross-section of Board members, Alumni Council leaders, industry representatives, and CALF leadership. This group is guiding the process and seeking insight from alumni, industry, and stakeholders. The discussion will be around these key questions: What is CALF’s role in California Agriculture? What is missing from CALF’s current direction? Which of the bold ideas for the future feel both aspirational and achievable? What is one thing that CALF can’t change? What legacy will we create for the next generation of Ag Leadership? What role should CALF play in California agriculture over the next decade? Where is leadership most needed in our industry? What must remain core to who we are? How do we strengthen impact, relevance, and financial durability? This is not a presentation — it is a conversation. Your insight will directly inform the pillars, priorities, and long-term outcomes that will shape CALF through 2030 and beyond. We are committed to preserving the values that have defined Ag Leadership — integrity, excellence, and respect — while ensuring the Foundation remains bold, relevant, and positioned for generational impact. We look forward to learning from you.
