We are honored to welcome special guest: CDFA Secretary Karen Ross, to offer remarks at this year’s Cultivate the Future event.

As Secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of California agriculture. Her leadership has advanced environmental stewardship, supported climate adaptation, and expanded opportunities for farmers and ranchers to implement sustainable practices.

Through her work, she has also strengthened partnerships across government, academia, and industry while increasing access to California-grown food. Her impact continues to position California agriculture as both economically vital and environmentally forward-looking.
