Ag and Government Leaders Reception

The Ag & Government Leaders Reception is a signature annual gathering hosted by the California Agricultural Leadership Foundation, bringing together leaders from across California agriculture and public policy. Held in Sacramento, the event creates a valuable space for agricultural leaders, government officials, alumni, and current fellows to connect and engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of the industry.

Hosted at the Senator Office Building, the reception is designed to strengthen relationships between those shaping policy and those working on the ground in agriculture. Through conversation and collaboration, the evening reflects a shared commitment to ensuring a strong and resilient future for California agriculture.

This year, we were honored to have Dr. Ashley M. Stokes, Dean of the UC Davis College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, in attendance thank you for joining us and supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders.

A special thank you to the Agricultural Council of California for their continued partnership and support in making this event possible.

A highlight of the evening was the cornucopia display, showcasing the diversity and abundance of California agriculture. All donated products were shared with the River City Food Bank, extending the impact of the event into the local community.

More than a networking event, the reception serves as a platform for connection, leadership, and collective impact—bringing together the people and perspectives needed to move California agriculture forward.
